Job summary

gpac seeks an ASL Truck Driver to safely operate an Automated Side Loader on assigned routes in Georgia, performing waste collection and routine inspections.

Applicants should have ASL or similar truck driving experience, a valid CDL if required, and a clean safety record. Must be able to work outdoors with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. This role emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASL, side-loader, or similar truck driving (waste management, sanitation, or recycling) is preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license and CDL if required for the vehicle
• Must pass drug/alcohol/background/MVR checks and maintain a safe driving record
• Ability to work outdoors and meet physical requirements
• Communicate effectively in English and follow written/verbal instructions
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the ASL waste collection truck on assigned routes
• Collect and transport waste, refuse, and recyclables
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues
• Follow routes, schedules, and company procedures
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
• Provide professional customer service and communicate with dispatch
