Job summary

Rise Incorporated seeks an Occupational Communications Specialist (ASL) to support Minnesotans who are Deaf, DeafBlind or hard of hearing. The role involves job placement, training, and long-term employment support within a hybrid-remote Minnesota service area, with travel up to 75% and a daytime schedule.

Qualified candidates will be fluent in American Sign Language at an advanced level and willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in American Sign Language at an advanced level.
• Must pass DHS background check (Rule 11).
• Must have a valid driver license and be able to travel using a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist persons served to obtain and maintain competitive jobs.
• Provide job placement services, resume/cover letter prep, and interview coaching.
• Develop opportunities with local businesses and employers.
• Offer ongoing support to ensure success in new roles and relate with employers.
