Job summary

Choice Translating, Inc. and TravelingBrand is seeking on-site and video remote contractor interpreters to join our team of linguists.

Location options include Illinois for onsite or North Carolina/South Carolina with VRI opportunities; other states available for remote work. Qualified candidates must be fully bilingual in ASL and English, hold a valid ASL Interpreter license, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in ASL and English.
• Must have (or must obtain) a valid ASL Interpreter license.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher).

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret spoken communication in real-time.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and the interpreter Code of Ethics.
• Manage your own flexible schedule and accept appointments as needed.
• Provide services on-site and/or via video (VRI).
• Be punctual, professional, and committed to high-quality work.

• Open to interpreters in Illinois / North Carolina/South Carolina for Onsite, or other states for VRI opportunities

Qualifications

• Must have (or must obtain) a valid ASL Interpreter license
• Technologically proficient (familiar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams , etc.)
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher)
• Clean driving record , valid driver’s insurance, and reliable transportation
