Qualifications

• Fully bilingual, fluent in ASL and English.
• Must have (or obtain) a valid NC Interpreter license.
• Proficient with video conferencing tools (e.g., Google Meet, Microsoft Teams).
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher).
• Clean driving record, valid insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret spoken communication in real-time.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in ASL and English.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and interpreter ethics.
• Manage a flexible schedule and accept appointments as needed.
• Provide on-site interpretation and/or video remote interpretation (VRI).
• Be punctual, professional, and committed to high-quality work.
