Job summary

Amergis is seeking an ASL Interpreter Aide for a school setting in Dublin, OH. The role supports deaf or hard-of-hearing students by interpreting spoken language into ASL and back, ensuring access to classroom instruction, activities and discussions.

Required: fluent ASL, an associate or bachelor’s in interpreting or related field, relevant state certifications (EIPA/ RID as applicable), CPR and health clearances. Excellent opportunity with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in interpreting, deaf studies or related field.
• State Board of Education Initial Sign Language Interpreter Certificate (as applicable).
• Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) certificate (as applicable).
• RID certification (as applicable).
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
