Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 60 college credits, or a verified former teacher.
• Fluency in American Sign Language and written English required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with diverse student populations, strong classroom management skills, and knowledge of the Deaf Community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow the lesson plan left by the teacher and ensure students complete all assigned tasks.
• Maintain a safe environment and supervise students at all times.
• Leave information about the day’s activities for the teacher and maintain confidentiality of students and school personnel information.
