Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role requires fluency in American Sign Language and offers a signing bonus based on hours worked.

Schedule includes Monday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexible full‑time and part‑time options. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live

Qualifications

• Fluency in American Sign Language is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
