Qualifications

• ASL proficiency and other communication modes as needed.
• EIPA score 3.5+ or state credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL interpretation in classroom instruction and events.
• Facilitate communication between deaf students and staff.
• Interpret reflecting the student’s communication mode and understanding.
• Support independence and self-advocacy in students.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure accessible materials.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Stay current with ongoing training and certification requirements.

Education
