Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air-brake endorsement.
• 1-2 years commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience or aptitude for operating automatic side-load equipment from the cab.
• Driving record meets company and insurance standards.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug/alcohol screens, and DOT physical.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions; safe operation required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential refuse truck with ASL to collect carts on routes.
• Use joystick/control panel to position, lift, and dump carts.
• Follow route sheets and routing systems to complete stops on time.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians, traffic, and obstacles.
• Handle occasional bulky items per guidelines and regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Complete paperwork and logs accurately (route sheets, tickets, reports).
