Chimes is seeking an ASL-Direct Support Professional in Baltimore, MD, offering $19.75/hour. You will empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Candidate must be able to communicate with participant using American Sign Language (ASL).
• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required—we provide training.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs; valid U.S. driver’s license with standard driving record requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles require travel between Residential and Day programs.
