Job summary

Community Support Services for the Deaf, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist Deaf and Deaf-Blind Adults with personal care, daily living tasks, and medication in a part-time, in-person setting.

The role requires fluent American Sign Language, a High School Diploma, and a Maryland driver’s license with a reliable schedule. Shifts include weekend options, and a commitment to IP-driven care is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Relevant experience is a plus.
• Valid MD Driver’s License with 2 points or less.
• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).

Responsibilities

• Assist Deaf and/or Deaf-Blind Adults with personal care, cleaning, cooking, laundry, and medication administration.
• Overnight monitoring as required.
• Follow IP plan and participating in IP meetings.
