Job summary

Responsibilities include teaching assigned classes following established outlines and adhering to departmental schedules. Prior teaching experience is preferred, along with fluency in ASL and knowledge of instructional methodologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ASL or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.
• Fluency in ASL is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create dynamic teaching/learning environments for students.
• Teach courses as per department guidelines.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and respond to grading requests.

Skills

Native or near-native fluency in ASL

Knowledge of language teaching methodologies

Familiarity with Blackboard and instructional technologies
