TITLE: ASK Room Lead

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or higher
• Self-motivated and adept at problem solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, and interact effectively with all aspects of the school community is required.
• Ability to solve conflicts, maintain confidentiality and remain open to various ideas and viewpoints.
• Successfully completes required criminal history check, physical, drug screen and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Must be 21 years of age or older

REPORTS TO: Building Principal(s)

JOB GOAL: The goal of the supervisor is to oversee childcare for elementary students after school hours.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works under the direct supervision of the administrator(s) to assist individual students with activities as required.
• Assists the Administrator with record-keeping duties.
• Assists the Administrator in implementing all policies and/or rules governing student life, behavior, and conduct.
• Establish and maintain appropriate and cooperative working relationships with the classroom teacher, the building administrators, staff members, students, parents, and patrons.
• Maintain confidentiality of all school-related matters.
• Perform all other duties as dictated by law and/or assigned by a supervisor/Administrator.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year is to be established by the Board of Education.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be completed by the building principal(s) on an annual basis.
