New Life Surgery is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. You will assist in both the clinic and operating room, collaborating with two surgeons and other PAs/NPs. Visit our IG @newlifesurgery_ to understand the practice and team dynamics.

In clinic, you will gather histories, interpret tests, explain diagnoses, and prescribe treatments with physician oversight. In the OR, you will assist General and Bariatric cases and participate in pre- and post-op care.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensing required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in OR for General and Bariatric Surgery Cases.
• Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records.
• Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results.
• Explain test results and expected health outcomes to patients.
• Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician oversight as part of a health plan.
• Work closely with nurses, other PAs, and physicians to formulate a full treatment plan.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team! As a Physician Assistant, you will be expected to help in Clinic & in Operating room. Visit our IG @newlifesurgery_ to understand better the practice. We currently have two Surgeons and Two PA/NP-RNFA

1) In Clinic you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval.

2) In Operating Room, you will be assisting General and Bariatric Surgery cases. Also help in Pre and Post op follow up.

The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Experience is preferred but NOT required. Will Provide full training to new graduates.
