Frisco Medicine in Frisco, TX is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. You will examine patients, collect medical histories, and make tentative diagnoses on a range of issues while coordinating with physicians to develop treatment plans.

The ideal candidate has excellent bedside manner, experience charting in medical environments, and strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary to explain test results and health outcomes to patients.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensing required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records.
• Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results.
• Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes.
• Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician overseeing as part of a larger health plan.
• Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan.

Job Summary
