Allergy & Asthma Associates in Arnold, MD is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our specialty care team. You will assist physicians during exams, administer injections, and maintain accurate patient records in the EHR while supporting front-to-back operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced specialty medical environment.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and allergy/asthma procedures.
• Administer allergy injections and perform allergy skin testing under provider supervision.
• Record and update patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints in the EHR system.
• Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and provide front-to-back office support.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and allergy/asthma management techniques.
• Handle lab specimens, process referrals, and manage prior authorizations as needed.
