Allergy and Asthma Associates of Southern California is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support a dynamic healthcare team. You will handle clinical and administrative tasks, assist with exams, record vital signs, and help ensure a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant program, experience in a clinical environment, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and electronic health records.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, prepare examination rooms, and assist with patient intake.
• Record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations and minor procedures as needed.
• Administer medications or injections as directed and within scope of practice, if applicable.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection, processing, and preparation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records and practice systems.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-up care, and support patient communications.
• Manage supplies, restock exam rooms, and help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Follow all infection control, safety, privacy, and compliance procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional support to patients, families, and team members.
