BARNES WALTON DENTAL ASSOC LTD in Chicago seeks a Dental Assistant with advanced dental experience to support a high-tech, fast-paced practice. You will be responsible for taking quality x-rays, assisting with lab work, and explaining procedures to patients while maintaining excellent patient care and team collaboration.

Proficiency in Dentrix is a plus, and candidates must have strong communication, organizational skills, and a stable employment history.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced dental experience and ability to understand and explain procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Take quality x-rays without retakes.
• Study models to reveal proper anatomy and trim models per orthodontic standards.
• Fabricate anatomically correct temporary crowns and bridges; prepare laboratory cases.
• Promote and discuss treatment plans and fees with patients.

Dental Assistant position available for a high tech and fast paced dental practice in the Chatham community, emphasis on excellence in patient care and team development. Applicants must be able to understand and explain dental procedures, have ADVANCED clinical and lab skills, excellent communication and organizational skills. Advanced performance expectations of applicant include but not limited to ability to take quality x-rays without retakes, study models to reveal proper anatomy, trimming models according to orthodontic standards, fabrication of anatomically correct temporary crowns and bridges, laboratory case preparations, ability to promote and discuss treatment and fees, works at a fast pace and ability to multi-task, and respects attentiveness to detail. Computer literacy is required as well (i.e. downloading and email transfer of images, etc). Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus.

Hours:

T, W, Th 8:00am–6:30pm

Fri, Sat 8:00am-4:00pm (1 Saturday per month)

Salary range: Based upon experience and qualifications.
