Job summary

Hilado Sunnyvale Dental Group Inc is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to support our patient-centered practice in Sunnyvale, CA. You will chairside assist, set up rooms, and ensure instruments meet OSHA and CDC standards.

The schedule is Wednesday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a few Saturdays per month. Compensation ranges from $22 to $26 per hour, with 401(k), paid time off, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• State-required certifications (e.g., X-ray license, CPR)
• 1+ year chairside experience (new grads with great attitude welcome)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Friendly, professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Calm, kind, and organized; loves teamwork and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare, set up, and turn over treatment rooms
• Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and CDC standards
• Take digital X-rays, intraoral photographs, and an iTero scan.
• Record accurate patient notes and maintain electronic charts
• Provide clear post-operative and home-care instructions to patients
• Manage supply inventory and ensure operatories are well stocked
