Sher Smiles Orthodontics in Ohio is seeking a qualified and caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing office. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will provide highest quality dental care that makes our clients feel like family.

You will provide assistance to the dentist during adjustments and bondings/debondings and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has a current license and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a CODA-certified program.
• Current CDA or DANB RDA licensure.
• Previous orthodontic assistant experience.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Accurately record and update medical/health history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and provide to the orthodontist for appointments and procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
