Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; additional degrees in ECEC preferred.
• Experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.

• Ability to work productively without supervision and manage routine tasks.
• Basic understanding of child development and safe, supportive caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children.
• Communicate with parents about child's progress and activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Support routine childcare tasks to foster a nurturing learning environment.
