Job summary

The role entails leading professional development, coordinating with schools, and supporting AMSTI/ASIM initiatives within the division of Academic Affairs.

Essential functions include delivering professional learning, developing resources, coaching teachers, and collaborating with site directors and system leaders to improve science

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education from an accredited institution, approved by USA.
• Five years of professional teaching experience in designated field of study.
• Current Alabama Teacher’s Certificate and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and/or participates in professional learning for teachers and administrators.
• Develops and maintains common professional learning offerings and resources.
• Provides ongoing professional learning to AMSTI/ASIM lead teachers and instructional coaches.
• Coordinates with IHEs for pre-service and continuing education/outreach.
• Maintains records and participates in resource development and promotion.
