Job summary

Ipas is seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager to strengthen resource mobilization and the Asia partnership portfolio, identify donors, and coordinate proposal development. This remote role requires base in Asia, with up to 30% travel and collaboration with country directors and the network to craft expressions of interest, budgets, and partner strategies.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of program management experience in NGOs or mission-driven orgs.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in business development, fundraising, and/or proposal development.
• Strong English and French written and verbal communication.
• Experience with institutional donor environments.
• Deep commitment to reproductive health and rights, gender equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Map priority foundations, institutional funders, corporate partners, and strategic implementing partners aligned with Ipas's mission.
• Analyze funder priorities, eligibility, timelines, typical award size, indirect cost expectations, compliance considerations, and relationship pathways.
• Identify and track RFPs, calls for proposals, invitations, and relationship-led opportunities, and maintain an up-to-date pipeline tracker.
• Support go/no-go decisions through fit assessments, competitiveness analysis, and risk and feasibility review.
• Develop donor engagement plans for priority prospects, including objectives, messages, and follow-up actions.
• Draft and refine capability statements, one-pagers, brief decks, project summaries, and boilerplate language.
