Job summary

Bone Bank Allografts, a subsidiary of Globus Medical Inc., is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform human tissue processing in accordance with FDA regulations, AATB standards, and SOPs.

You will prepare tissue sections, operate precision equipment, complete paperwork, maintain aseptic conditions, manage waste, and support room setup/breakdown while upholding our Code of Conduct and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred, or 1 year related work experience.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience in aseptic/sterile environment and/or Tissue Processing or operating room preferred.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers and operation of electrical and pneumatic cutting, drilling, and routing equipment.
• Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Must have basic computer knowledge skills.
• Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible in working hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sections of human tissue for surgical implantation.
• Utilizes specialized techniques and equipment to evaluate, cut, shape, grind and package tissue to exacting specifications and protocols.
• Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry when applicable.
• Performs Lab Support functions of setup/breakdown of rooms and handling of donor tissue using aseptic technique and maintaining sterile fields.
• Maintains supplies and equipment on a daily basis.
• Handles disposal of biohazardous and non-biohazardous waste.
