Job summary

Cresilon is seeking a Production Technician I/II to join our Brooklyn-based manufacturing team. The role focuses on aseptic production of animal health products, cleanroom operations, and GMP compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include line clearance, equipment setup, operating packing and filling lines, routine sanitation, documentation accuracy, and collaboration across shifts to maintain product quality and production schedules. Training and growth are offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent with 2+ years manufacturing experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices or 2–4 year degree with 0+ years experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute written work instructions.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units and understand SOPs.
• Ability to become gowning qualified for a cleanroom environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and changes.
• Team oriented with proactive communication and collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform line clearance of assigned production areas as required.
• Perform equipment set up and disassembly activities.
• Operate production, assembly and testing equipment (heat sealers, scanners, scales, tumblers, autoclaves).
• Formulate, fill, and pouch product in accordance with SOPs.
• Troubleshoot deviations and coordinate with other functions.
• Report machine and operating deviations to supervisor or designee.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Perform cleaning and disinfection of manufacturing spaces and equipment.
• Inspect components and products visually per SOPs and cGMPs.
• Perform sampling and packaging of intermediate and finished goods.
• Package and ship raw materials for sterilization.
• Handle material receiving, staging, movements, and replenishment per SOPs.
• Transport samples and equipment between facilities; data entry for inventory movements.
• Maintain logbooks and batch records per GMP/GDP.
• Maintain a clean production environment; report near misses and assist investigations.
• Assist in project commissioning, validation activities, and testing prototypes.
• Monitor plant status and coordinate with other departments to avoid interruptions.
• Complete training (TM1–TM5) and oversee junior employee training.
• Ensure shift handoffs and communications are clear; support EM/PM activities.
