Job summary

Zoetis in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a motivated Media Preparation Technician to join our ABI manufacturing team. The role focuses on reading and reporting test results, assembling lab/production equipment, sterilizing medias, and following SOPs in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The position is full-time, 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:30pm) with potential overtime, weekend and holiday requirements. High school diploma and basic biology coursework are desirable; lifting up to 50 lbs and

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn lab processes.
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of metric system.

Responsibilities

• Read and report test results using scientific instruments.
• Assemble lab/production equipment.
• Sterilize medias using heat and filtration.
• Follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Operate within PPE guidelines and clean room conditions.
• Use SAP inventory system to dispense and complete orders.
