Lassonde Industries Inc. is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager - 1st Shift for our Hendersonville, NC beverage facility. The role leads aseptic maintenance, drives reliability, and coordinates with Operations to ensure equipment availability and safe, high-quality production.

The position requires strong leadership, CMMS experience (eMaint preferred), and knowledge of GMPs. It offers a comprehensive benefits program and bonus incentives as part of a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience leading maintenance in manufacturing; food/bev experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS for planning and analysis; eMaint preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety/quality practices.
• Ability to analyze downtime and convert findings into priorities and actions.

Responsabilités

• Lead maintenance activities for aseptic production equipment and related systems.
• Coordinate manpower, priorities, downtime response, planned work, and equipment availability with Operations.
• Provide hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting leadership during malfunctions; coach mechanics.
• Improve preventive and predictive maintenance by reviewing PM completion, history, and frequency; update plans.
• Support backlog management and CMMS-driven maintenance execution.
• Lead reliability improvement via PDCA, root-cause analyses, and equipment upgrades.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintenance data; drive corrective action.
• Support installation, commissioning, modification, and replacement affecting aseptic production.
• Lead shift handoffs and communicate maintenance priorities across shifts.
• Develop and communicate maintenance procedures and standards for safe, high-quality work.
• Support maintenance training, onboarding, and skill development.
• Assist with recruiting and coaching of maintenance staff; support cost-control efforts.
• Support small capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, electrical safety, Confined Space, and related safety programs.
