Job summary

Zoetis, Inc. in Lincoln, NE is seeking a hands-on manufacturing technician to support aseptic loading and lyophilization processes on the 1st shift.

You will operate Micromax/SCADA systems, perform start-up and shut-down duties, monitor processes, and maintain batch records in line with SOPs and GMPs. The role includes on-call rotation, basic capping and filling tasks, and cross-training opportunities; benefits include a $500 sign-on bonus, vacation, holidays, 401(k) match, tuition

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Demonstrate basic mechanical skills.
• Demonstration of personal computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Micromax/SCADA system for lyophilizers.
• Understanding of SCADA trends for proper lyophilizers start-ups and shutdowns.
• On-Call responsibilities (Response to lyophilization issues during off hours, weekend coverage for lyophilization set-ups, start-ups, and shut-downs)
• Handle movement of sterile equipment using practices designed to achieve and ensure equipment sterility.
• Learn and demonstrate understanding of basic sterilization principles and aseptic technique.
• Understand and use fill schedule to meet customers' requirements.
• Basic knowledge and use of inventory management system
• Basic understanding of RFT Methodologies
• Assist with operation of CIP/SIP systems, as applicable.
• Basic understanding of the SCADA/EWI system as applicable
• Assist with Lab Cleaning practices.
• Identify and communicate work order issues.
• Operate fill suites independently.
• Operate capping equipment independently.
• Independently perform mechanical set up procedures in an aseptic environment
• Assist in updating batch records, SOPs and JTC's
• Participate in cross training within manufacturing.
• Participate in special project teams (i.e., Safety, RFT, Kaizen events)
• Perform basic repairs, maintenance, disassembly, and reassembly of major equipment.
• Ability to identify quality issues.
