Job summary

Anika Therapeutics in Bedford, MA is seeking an Aseptic Manufacturing Technician II for 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm). The role involves manufacturing and filling aseptic products, following SOPs and GMP procedures, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours to complete work activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to gown and gain entry to biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing areas and wear PPE.
• Ability to lift, pull or push equipment up to 25–50 lbs and stand for up to 6 hours in a production suite.
• Ability to climb ladders and work platforms.
• Ability to work around chemicals including alcohols, acids, and bases.
• Nice to have: experience in medical device industry; aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment per SOPs, Batch Records, MDs and OPMs.
• Perform aseptic fills including transfer, setup, sanitization, autoclaving, and process simulation.
• Clean and sterilize equipment according to procedures.
• Support changeover activities and troubleshoot process issues.
• Record data in Batch Records, log books, and OPMs; review forms.
• Document all work per Good Documentation Practices and report deviations or nonconformances.
