Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform processing duties in Receiving, Weigh-Out, Batching and VTIS to ensure timely service for ESL and Aseptic products. Responsibilities include maintaining SOPs/PMs, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in manufacturing and knowledge of engineering/electronics/pneumatics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of engineering, electronics, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Administer, implement, and maintain SOPs and PMs for all processing work areas.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain and rebuild presses, homogenizers and valves.
• Track department performance and provide progress reports to leadership.
• Maintain communication with other departments to ensure timely flow of product.
• Learn new equipment and procedures; maintain knowledge of equipment.
