Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America operates a high-speed aseptic filling line in Saint Paul, MN, seeking a dependable operator to maintain safe, efficient production. You will set up, run, and clean filling equipment while prioritizing product quality and uptime.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and can read, write, and speak English; production experience is preferred. You will work in a fast-paced GMP environment with attention to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and clean aseptic filling equipment.
• Sterilize and manually wash machine components.
• Perform routine basic chemical concentration tests.
• Troubleshoot equipment and contact maintenance when necessary.
• Report any food safety and food quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA GMPs and work in a manner consistent with regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Maintain safe and efficient operation of filler equipment while maximizing production up-time, minimizing shrink, and maintaining quality.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform safe and effective set up, operation, and cleaning of the aseptic filling equipment
• Conduct the sterilization and manual washing of machine components
• Perform routine basic chemical concentration tests
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and contact maintenance when necessary
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
