Job summary

Dairy Challenge in Kentucky is seeking a diligent operator to support aseptic filling equipment with set up, operation, and cleaning. You will perform sterilization, cleaning, and routine chemical tests, ensuring compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to document records clearly. Proficiency in basic arithmetic and English communication is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and effective set up, operation, and cleaning of the aseptic filling equipment.
• Conduct the sterilization and manual washing of machine components.
• Perform routine basic chemical concentration tests.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and contact maintenance when necessary.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and corporate food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform safe and effective set up, operation, and cleaning of the aseptic filling equipment
• Conduct the sterilization and manual washing of machine components
• Perform routine basic chemical concentration tests
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and contact maintenance when necessary
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experience preferred
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
