Job Overview:

Midas Auto Experts in Bowling Green KY are hiring for an ASE Certified Master Technician. This Midas shop was established in 1977, and is family owned and operated. We operate out of 16 service bays, including one large truck bay. We are located on a busy street corner. We can provide good steady work to allow you to be a top earner. Midas supports both 6 day and 5-day work schedules.

Responsibilities:

As a Midas automotive technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including:

• Accurate diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
• Check engine & ABS lights
• Heating and air conditioning
• Steering and suspension
• Belts and hoses
• Radiator and engine cooling systems
• Batteries, starting and charging
• Brake repair
• Oil services
• Mufflers and exhaust services
• Programming
• Digital vehicle inspections

Qualifications:

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires & engine diagnostics
• Track record of high personal productivity. Looking for 60-80 labor hours per week.
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
• Active ASE Master Technician Certification, Air Conditioning, etc.
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment, diagnostic scanner/tools, etc.
• Able to service both import and domestic vehicles
• Able to work on box trucks, sprinter vans, mid-size buses, etc.
