Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care is looking for an automotive technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicle concerns, primarily transmissions, while performing general repairs as needed. You will leverage AAMCO’s resources and tools to accurately diagnose issues and complete repairs.

Expect responsibilities that include thorough inspections, accurate recommendations, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• A team-oriented attitude and ability to collaborate with others.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Driver's license required.
• ASE certifications or other certifications are a plus and may affect pay.

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform thorough vehicle inspections and make proper recommendations.
• Technicians repair customer vehicles, including most powertrain work.
• Technicians conduct diagnostics with clear recommendations.
• Technicians maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Technicians communicate with customer service to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
