Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. is seeking a General Automotive Technician/R&R Technician to service a broad range of vehicle repair issues, ensure proper performance and safety, and quickly identify causes of performance problems.

The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing automotive systems, removing and reinstalling transmissions, and collaborating with other technicians. Strong diagnostic and customer-service skills are important for success.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians
• Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques
• Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated
• Performs other duties as assigned.
