Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn and develop fleet maintenance skills.
• Experience in automotive or diesel repair is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and routine servicing of fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs appropriate to the classification, training and qualifications.
• Inspect vehicles, systems and components for wear, damage, defects and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, inspection reports and related documentation.
• Use tools, diagnostic equipment and shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow maintenance procedures, safety requirements and departmental policies.
• Collaborate with Fleet Maintenance team members to support vehicle availability, reliability and timely repairs.
