Job Description

Position Summary:
AER Manufacturing is seeking a highly experienced ASE Certified Mechanic to join our team at our Carrollton, TX facility. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional with at least 5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience and current ASE certification. The mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on gas and diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to support operational needs.
• Ensure all repairs are completed in compliance with safety standards and ASE guidelines.
• Identify and recommend necessary parts, tools, or equipment.
• Occasionally support internal mechanical operations for remanufacturing or industrial equipment.

Qualifications:

• Current ASE Certification (multiple areas preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with automotive scan tools and repair software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
