Job summary

The Hertz Corporation in Hilo, HI is seeking an Onsite Automotive Technician to perform diagnostics and repairs, maintain vehicles, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced shop. This role calls for leadership within the maintenance team and the ability to work independently or with colleagues.

You will handle preventative maintenance, use lifts and scan tools, and contribute to ensuring peak vehicle performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school preferred.
• At minimum three (3) years of vehicle maintenance experience
• ASE Certified and State Safety Inspection License preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and repair work to keep vehicles in running condition
• Lead quality standards and support team with product knowledge
• Operate and maintain shop equipment and safety practices
• Complete preventive maintenance per Hertz program
