Job summary

Timbrook Ford of Oakland is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our service team in Oakland, MD. You will inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles following manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.

Qualifications

Automotive service or repair experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
State inspection license preferred where applicable.
ASE certifications are a plus.
Manufacturer certifications and training are a plus.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
Ability to read and understand repair orders, technical information, and service procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using diagnostic equipment.
Perform brake, suspension, steering, engine, transmission, electrical, and other repairs as qualified.
Complete manufacturer warranty and recall repairs in accordance with requirements.
Document diagnostic findings, repairs, parts used, and services performed.
Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle concerns with Service Advisors.
Follow repair procedures, dealership policies, and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
Participate in manufacturer and dealership training.
Work cooperatively with Service Advisors, Parts Department, and technicians.
