Job summary

VIP, Inc. in Marshfield, MA is seeking an Installation Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, perform maintenance, and ensure parts, fluids, tires, and accessories are serviced correctly the first time.

You will follow VIP safety, loss prevention, and customer service policies while completing service work orders, training to achieve ASE certifications, and supporting a safe, productive shop environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: diagnose and repair automotive systems; effectively explain vehicle information to customers; interpret and apply technical instructions.
• Minimum Educational and/or Experience Level: one year related automotive experience; two-year technical program recommended; equivalent combo accepted.
• Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: valid driver’s license; ASE certifications recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on vehicles per VIP standards.
• Ensure Service Work Order is created and displayed during service.
• Maintain safety and shop cleanliness per VIP policies.
• Attend required training and certification programs.
