Job summary

CarMax West Point, VA is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.

This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for external hires, a competitive hourly wage range of $23.28–$41.94, and ongoing training with advanced tools and support from CarMax.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning vehicles to meet safety/quality standards.
• Knowledge of engines, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC systems is preferred.
• Must be able to follow EH&S requirements and work in a team.
