Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center is seeking an Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic with ASE certification or equivalent experience. The role offers a flag-rate pay with guaranteed weekly hours and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, performing wheel alignments, tire services, and inspections, while providing professional customer service and maintaining accurate service records.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes.
• Use diagnostic tools and document completed work.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the shop operating safely.
• Explain repair recommendations to customers.
