Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center is hiring an Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic – ASE Certified in Osage Beach, MO. This role rewards a performance-based pay structure with guaranteed weekly hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

We seek ASE certified technicians or those with significant hands-on experience who can diagnose and repair vehicle systems, perform tire services, alignments, and inspections. A Missouri inspector license or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general maintenance.
• Perform Missouri state inspections or obtain certification to do so.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
• Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations.
