Qualifications

• High School Diploma (minimum)
• Experience with people with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Excellent attendance and reliability; flexible with responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Takes direction from building staff for program delivery.
• Assists with orientation, reading, art, and other curriculum tasks.
• Follows through with prescribed behavioral management programs.
• Assists with development of instructional materials and classroom setup.
• Assists with student mobility and daily living activities as needed.
• Supervises students in activities outside the classroom and during transitions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by staff or principal.
