Grosse Pointe Public Schools System is seeking an ASD Categorical Teacher (1.0 FTE) to support two positions. You will serve as the case manager for students with IEPs and adapt instruction to meet diverse needs.
Responsibilities include implementing the district curriculum, integrating technology, and collaborating with staff to ensure continuous student progress in a dynamic classroom environment.

Provide special education student(s) with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Responsible for planning instruction and adaptation of the general/special education curriculum to accommodate students in the learning process. Function as the case manager for students with individualized education programs (IEPs) and oversee their compliance.

Salary is based on the GPEA CBA , which may or may not recognize previous professional teaching experience. GPEA Members are also eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including health/dental/vision/life and long-term disability insurance.
