Job summary

Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator to own and optimize a busy ASC. You will lead a high-performing team, partner with physicians, and drive operational and financial performance to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include building leadership, improving surgical flow, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, finance, or related field.
• Progressive leadership experience in an ASC, hospital surgical services, physician practice, or healthcare environment.
• Experience leading teams and establishing a culture of accountability.
• Strong understanding of surgical operations, patient flow, staffing, and service-line management.
• Experience managing budgets, operating expenses, and P&L.
• Knowledge of surgical coding, documentation, billing, reimbursement, and revenue-cycle processes.
• Experience with procurement, inventory, supplies, implants, and/or equipment.
• Knowledge of provider credentialing and privileging.
• Working knowledge of ASC quality, safety, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, financial, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
