Job summary

The ideal candidate brings RN leadership experience, MN licensure, and a commitment to patient outcomes in an ambulatory setting, with availability to manage scheduling and participate in on-site patient care as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required; bachelor's is preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Minnesota RN license required.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• At least five years RN experience, preferably in ambulatory surgery or perioperative settings.
• Minimum of 1 year of management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Attends professional staff meetings, prepares agendas, gathers data, and prepares minutes.
• Provides day-to-day leadership for clinical and administrative staff at the surgery center.
• Maintains survey readiness and ensures regulatory, infection control, medication management, and patient safety compliance.
• Ensures facility compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; interacts with review agencies.
• Develops staffing schedules and adjusts coverage based on patient volume and staff needs.
• Performs skilled nursing assessments and plans/evaluates treatments for surgery center patients.
