Andersen is hiring a senior tax professional to lead ASC 740 tax accounting and provision in a growing, public-company environment. You will partner with Finance, Legal and Internal Tax to ensure accurate reporting and compliance across a global structure.

The role emphasizes building scalable processes, maintaining SOX controls, and delivering high-quality disclosures for SEC filings while coaching cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• 8–12+ years of relevant tax experience (public accounting and/or corporate tax function).
• CPA or equivalent credentials required.
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 and income tax accounting in a public company.
• Experience with SEC reporting and tax disclosures.
• Hands‑on experience supporting U.S. corporate income tax compliance and provision processes.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Finance and Tax teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex tax concepts.
• Detail‑oriented with focus on process improvement and execution.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the quarterly and annual income tax provision process under ASC 740.
• Own calculation and analysis of ETR, deferred tax assets/liabilities, and related accounts.
• Document and support technical tax accounting positions.
• Maintain documentation supporting tax accounting conclusions and positions.
• Own the tax close process with timelines and pre-close planning.
• Prepare and review tax disclosures in SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q).
• Partner with external auditors to support audits and reviews.
• Ensure alignment between tax accounting and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Internal Tax, Finance and Legal on tax return processes.
• Contribute to data gathering for quarterly and annual taxable income calculations.
• Support tax forecasting and quarterly estimates.
• Ensure alignment between provision outputs and tax return reporting.
• Support build-out of a public-company-ready tax controllership environment.
• Own and maintain SOX controls related to income tax accounting and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements across reporting.
• Coordinate with FP&A and Accounting for data integrity.
