Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to lead our global tax provision and financial reporting functions, serving as the ASC 740 subject matter expert for accurate quarterly and annual disclosures. The role requires residence in the Washington, D.C.

metropolitan area and occasional travel to the Reston, VA office. You will partner with accounting, treasury, FP&A, and auditors to manage complex tax positions and disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax.
• 12+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably with some public accounting experience
• Preferred CPA license
• US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Lead global tax provision and financial reporting responsibilities.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting, treasury, FP&A and external auditors to manage complex tax positions.
• Prepare and review tax provision workpapers and disclosures.
• Assist with cash tax planning and risk monitoring.
• Identify efficiency improvements using Excel, PowerBI, AI and related tech.
