Matrix Finance and Accounting seeks a Revenue Recognition Lead to serve as the subject matter expert for revenue recognition within the primary billing environment, partnering with Accounting, IT, Netcracker, and Aptitude RevStream.

The ideal candidate will bring deep ASC 606 expertise, strong data analysis skills, and experience working with large data sets to validate outcomes and drive compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 8+ years of revenue recognition experience, including ASC 606.
• Strong exposure to data analytics or BI tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Has worked in a highly transactional industry with large data volumes, complex billing, and systems integrations.

Responsibilities

• Act as revenue recognition SME within the billing environment.
• Collaborate with Accounting, IT, Netcracker, and RevStream to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze large data sets to validate outcomes, identify issues and interpret results.
